PM Youth Programme Launches Groundbreaking Initiative on Child Rights in Collaboration with UNICEF
Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, attended the inaugural ceremony of a pioneering research project titled "Applied Behavioral Science in Islamic Research: Realizing Child Rights in Pakistan." This initiative, which combines Islamic values with behavioral science, aims to advance protections and rights for children across Pakistan. In collaboration with UNICEF, the Prime Minister Youth Programme (PMYP) is also leading efforts to develop a comprehensive National Youth Policy. This policy will focus on adolescence and establish standardized protections for youth nationwide, with contributions from prominent figures such as Maulana Rahib Naimi Sahab, emphasizing the importance of aligning policy with Islamic principles and values. "We're working tirelessly for Pakistan's youth. We stand ready to support initiatives benefiting our nation's future generations," stated Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan. This dual commitment to research and policy development underscores PMYP’s dedication to creating a safer, more supportive environment for Pakistan’s young people.
