The national youth sports league will provide opportunities for youth to get involved in physical activities not only as a participant but as a professional player, coaches, leaders and volunteer. It will further provide cutting-edge expertise like coaching, camping, training and focused fitness to the youth. The talent hunt and sport league will provide equal opportunities for both men and women for performance optimization. The initiate aims social contributions of sports in the youth development of Pakistan and motivates youth to participate in sports and physical activities. The long-term goal of the initiative is similar to that of the Olympic movement i.e. to contribute to building a peaceful and better Pakistan by educating youth through sport practiced without discrimination of any kind and in the spirit of good sportsmanship, mutual understanding, friendship, solidarity and fair play. The purpose is to encourage participants to play an active part in promoting a genuine and lasting culture of peace, human rights and democracy using sport as a catalyst for change. As part of ongoing activities, HEC hopes to develop these young people to become equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to live together in peace and harmony and to empower them to discover their talent and make the most of their potential. The initiative will also help in revenue generation and robust sports and tourism.

Eligibility
You are strongly encouraged to apply if you are
- Pakistani/AJK National having CNIC or Form B.
- Age between 15 to 25 years.
- Not an employee of all those departments who take part in sports at National level like WAPDA, Armed Forces, Railway, etc.

Is there any TA/DA and Accommodation will be paid/provided for appearing in the trials?
No TA/DA and Accommodation will be given/provided for appearing in the trials. However, those will be selected will be given TA/DA and accommodation when will be called for training and competitions for next round.

Can a male/female take part in trials of more than one game?
Yes, you can appear in as many games as you want.

What will be the selection criteria?
For individual events like weightlifting, Wrestling and others the winners will be selected. For team events, a selection committee of the game will select the players.

Can only University/College/School students take part in these trails?
No, any Pakistani/AJK male/female meeting the eligibility criteria can take part in these trials.

My city is not in the sites mentioned in drop list of locations?
You will have to select your nearby city.

I belong to Gilgit-Baltistan but I am studying/living in Islamabad. Can I appear for trails in Islamabad?
You can appear for trials in any of the 5 sites mentioned in Islamabad/GB/AJK Region. You can appear any one of the 5 sites of your Province/Region only. For example, if a player belongs to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he can only give trails on any one of the 5 sites of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region only.

Internet does not work in my area. Can I get registration on the day of trails in my city?
Though it is strongly discouraged but limited registration facility will be available on the day of trails.

Is there equipment & playing kit will be available for trails or I should bring my own equipment?
Yes, equipment will be available however, you can also bring your own equipment like Racket in Table Tennis, Bat in Cricket etc however during trials no playing kit and joggers will be provided.

No, trials will be held only of those games mentioned in the list
