Chairman of Prime Minister's Youth Programme Attends D-8 Conference in Dhaka

Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Programme (PMYP), visited Dhaka to attend the D-8 Youth Ministers' meeting. In his address, he expressed gratitude to Bangladesh for successfully hosting the event and highlighted the nation's commitment to youth development. He also elaborated on Pakistan's approach to empowering youth through the PMYP. The D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, also known as Developing-8, is an intergovernmental organization for development cooperation among Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey. The main areas of cooperation include finance, banking, rural development, science and technology, humanitarian development, agriculture, energy, environment, and health. In his speech, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan emphasized that the PMYP aims to empower youth through various initiatives such as skill development, entrepreneurship, and financial assistance. He noted that the program provides opportunities for young people to actively participate in the country's development and contribute to its economic growth. "By working together within the D-8 framework and implementing youth-focused programs like the PMYP, member countries can foster sustainable development and create a brighter future for their young populations," said Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan.
